A couple of sketches from a backpacking trip into the mountains on the Appalachian Trail. Both done sitting in the tent while sipping morning coffee. Because at the end of day all I wanted to do, was to get into that sleeping bag. It was a physical challenging hike, but what a great trip.
Enjoy Jim
hi Jim, these trees have a similar feel to the March 6th post which i love the feeling of: space between the delicate top branches, cool, light colour of the bark. r.
ReplyDeleteHi Rahina,
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your comment.
And yes I seem to do better with more wintry looking trees. Some of my recent plein airs have been real dogs.
Maybe I need a little more structure for to zero in on.
I like your work Jim Serrett.
ReplyDeleteAlso, nice paint box.
Thank you, Dalsing for the comments.
